REGISTRATION & TRAVEL NOTES
DEADLINES Registration deadline for AFRICA is November 10, 2012. While there is no deadline for registration for all other trips, we advise registering early since our group size of 6 to 8 people (each trip varies) means we often have wait lists.
FEES Program fees remain the same regardless of room assigned or type of bed
TRAVEL from the airport to our hotels is not included in your fee – however, Horizons will help coordinate arrangements. Please do not book flights until you have received a formal written status confirmation from Horizons.
SINGLE ROOMS Single rooms are often available. When this can be arranged the additional fees are • $575 for Ecuador (for Quito & Tigua only) • $725 for Morocco, Peru & Argentina • $1185 for Asia. For Africa, singles available only in Cape Town & the Winelands with a $765 supplement. Conversely, if we cannot assign a roommate, a supplement of 2/3 the single room fee will be charged (80% for Asia & Africa).
NOTE Minimum age for programs is 22.
BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT While often the best prices can be had by booking directly with the airlines, we have found Air Brokers International to be a good resource for "consolida- tor" fares: 800-883-3273. Please book flights ONLY after you have received written notification to do so.
A NOTE FOR TEACHERS Teachers frequently come on our programs to gather enrichment material to use in the classroom AND/OR to accumulate credit hours for certification.
CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT Except for Africa, Registration must be accompanied by a $400 Deposit plus a $45 non- refundable Registration Fee. To complete enrollment, ALL Registrations must be followed by the prompt return of Travel Release & Health Forms included in our confirmation packet. Balance due 14 weeks before the start date of each program (except for Asia & Africa which are due earlier). Program size is limited, filled on first-come-first served basis. Registration Deposit is refundable up to 14 weeks prior to program start (19 weeks for Asia), with the balance of Full Tuition, Lodging, Meals refundable up to 12 weeks prior to program start (17 weeks for Asia) – both less a $150 Withdrawal Fee (cancellation must be received in writing).

There will be no reduction of fees for late arrival, early departure, or cancellation for medical or other reasons, including strike, war, acts of God, civil disruption, weather, quarantine, after the 12 (19) – week notification period. HENCE, WE STRONGLY ADVISE PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE.
