Panoramic landscapes, ancient walled cities, olive groves and vineyards stretching rhythmically to the horizon and capped, of course, by the glorious cities of Florence and Siena. As with all Horizons trips aesthetics of our lodging and wonderful food are a bottom line! We’ll alternate workshop days with excursions to Florence and Siena, with the special experience of seeing each city with a pre-eminent art historian, giving you an insider’s view of these 2 legendary locales. Lodging for the first part of our trip in two charming country inns located in the heart of the wine district of Tuscany. Lodging our last night will be in Florence at the gorgeous Loggiata del Serviti hotel, in the midst of the most historic part of the city. Rooms double occupancy, private baths.
